Hi, I'm Nina
Rodger and I'm the co-director of Complete Outdoors. Ever since I was
little I have loved the outdoors. My Dad really encouraged me to interact
with bugs and nature whenever he took me fishing or camping and
now the backcountry's where I feel truly at home. I really
enjoy going on trout fishing trips (my role is usually
chief photographer) and camping out. My next goal is to take up
kayaking which I have tried a few times but want to pursue more seriously.
I have been
running the Complete Outdoors for 4 years now and I absolutely love it.
What could be more fun than buying in a myriad of outdoor gear (it's like
Christmas everyday!).
I have a real passion to help the poorest of the poor
throughout the world, especially inCambodia. Because of this,
Complete Outdoors has teamed up with World Vision to support
them in rescuing children out of the Cambodian Rubbish Dumps and
providing clean drinking water to Cambodian Villages. I am planning a
visit to Cambodia in 2009 to see the
projects and visit the other children we
sponsor.
I hope you enjoy
looking around our site. We have tried to make it as easy to use and
informative as possible. I would really love to hear your suggestions or
comments. Please email me at: nina@completeoutdoors.co.nz
Enjoy your
outdoor adventures!

Hi,
my name is Darian Shaheen and I am the store manager. I come from the
United States and was born in Los Angeles. From there I travelled to Saudi
Arabia and Switzerland where I lived for a couple of years before moving
to Colorado. In Colorado I renewed my keen interest in the outdoors. I was
very involved in fly fishing, competitve snowboarding and
camping/mountaineering.
I
love being in Christchurch as I have access to the best natural
environment in the world and can enjoy all of my favourite activities.
Come in and see us. We would enjoy the opportunity to help you get
the most out of our fantastic backcountry.

Hi, my name is Nathan and I am responsible for keeping
Trade Me, our websites and work computers running (and some of the
employee’s home computers!)
I’m born and bred inChristchurch and love
living here as we have some of the best outdoors anywhere in the world. I
work with a great bunch of guys (and girls) all of whom are more than
happy to help with any of your questions.
We would love to see you in store and hear some of your stories of
you camping trips so make sure you come in and see
us.

Hi I'm Adam. I
do most of the photography and web 'stuff' for Complete Outdoors.
I have been around the Complete Angler and the Complete
Outdoors team for as long as I can remember. I have a passion for Fishing,
Art & Photography and I'm a bit of a bird nutta too! (most will agree
the term 'nutta' fits!) I am also the Dad of one awesome wee boy 'Jack'
who always makes me laugh (and sometimes swear!..under my breath of
course)..No that very expensive fly rod isn't for chasing the cat
with!!!!
I have grown up
around family camping trips down to the lakes etc and am looking forward
to sharing the same experiences with my kids.
Working in this
environment and this great group of people is simply awesome! I hope you
enjoy this website and I'd like to ad a line from Billy Connolly 'Never
judge a man untill you've walked a mile in his shoes..by then who
cares, he's a mile away and you've got his shoes!'

I’m Chris Williams. I spent the first 36
years of my life farming in South Canterbury and Southland, before moving
to Christchurch and along with my wife, owning and running a garden centre
for 13 years. My parents were keen anglers so from an early age I
developed a passion for fishing, trout fishing in particular, although I
also dabble in whitebaiting and salmon fishing.
For me just being in the outdoors is the
ultimate. Catching a fish or two is just the icing on the cake. Since
working at the Complete Outdoors my list of ‘rivers to fish’ has grown
considerably!’
I consider working in an outdoors shop
the ideal job for a keen outdoorsman, helping others with their many
enquiries and of course getting to handle and sell quality gear.

Hi my name
is Kyle Adams. I am originally from Taranaki
in the north Island. My father introduced me to fishing at a young age and
I grew up fishing the rivers and coastline of Taranaki.
At 12
years of age I took up fly fishing, this became the dominant force of my
life and I was out fishing the Taranaki rivers and streams every
chance I could.
I have
worked in the fishing tackle industry as a sales advisor for Hunting and
fishing Taranaki, a sales representative of the south island for
New
Zealand
fishing tackle
company Composite Developments, a fly fishing guide for the
prestigious cedar lodge and a ski instructor for Cardrona ski resort in
Wanaka.

your fishing experiences and enjoy discussing and learning methods and new
techniques.

you the best possible fishing experience
Strike

Kristina Wilson. I am in charge of Trademe sales and
look after website enquiries and orders. I also head up the customer service area
and have the pleasure of answering all of
your emails.
I was born in Christchurch but grew up in the United States.
I moved back to New Zealand 9 years ago and now consider it
home… and the most beautiful country in the world! I love getting out in the great
wide open and enjoying all this country has to offer.
Working for Complete Outdoors has
given me a whole new appreciation for camping and I learn something new
every day. If you ever have a question or need a product, I am only an
email or phone call away… and always happy to help!
Hi,
I’m Steve the warehouse guy and youngest member at Complete
Outdoors.
I’ve always called Christchurch home and why wouldn’t you when
everything is at your doorstep! I love getting outdoors whether it is
camping in the sounds in summer, pig hunting with mates, setting a
longline off the coast or chasing the elusive Monster
Moki!!
I’m
hoping to travel though Southeast Asia in 2009, experience a little of
what this wonderful world has to offer! So what better place to work than
being surrounded by people interested in the same hobbies as
myself!! |
