colour means no rain, pink means very light rain etc. Hey,

really good site that really gives you the heads up on the

Below is a rough guide to fishable levels on some
of the major rivers. A higher figure is likely to be discoloured
and produce difficult fishing
conditions.
These are
a guide only and water clarity will vary a lot
depending on rising or falling rivers and the time of year. For
example, snow melt during October-November can keep rivers
unfishable at well below these levels. Generally
though, flows lower these figures should produce
clear to only slightly
discoloured water
