Returns & Exchanges

We believe fully in everything we sell, otherwise, we wouldn't be selling it!

Sometimes things might not be quite what was expected, didn't work quite as well as they should or have been missed by the quality control at the time of manufacture. We offer a 30 moneyback guarantee for products with these issues more info here

When You Should Get in Contact With Us

If your item arrives or develops an issue including:
○ Dead on arrival
○ Missing parts
○ Manufacturing defects
○ Item not as described
○ Broken parts out of box
○ Visible damage from a Courier
○ Item isn't fit for purpose

What Isn't Covered Under Returns or Exchanges

We sadly cannot accept items for refund or exchange if:
○ The product has been used outside
○ The product has been worn, used or altered
○ It does not come with its original packaging
○ It cannot be entered back into stock & sold
○ We do not have original proof of purchase from ourselves
○ The product is underwear/base layer
○ The product is gas/fuel

How To Return or Exchange

Before returning the product please get in touch with us. This means we can assist you and make the transaction smoother. We will also provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. 

You can do this via email on returns@completeoutdoors.nz, by calling us on 03 366 9885, or using our Product Returns Form
Once you have your RMA you can return the item back to our store. This will usually be at your cost. Once your item has returned back into store we can send your replacement.

You must have your original proof of purchase or advise us of when the original purchase was made so we can find and log this in our system.

Exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase. Exceptions will be made for exchanges under warranty. 


Product Return Form

Once you have your RMA you can return the item back to our store. This will usually be at your cost. Once your item has returned back into store we can send your replacement or refund you. 

Please Note: We do not keep Bank or Card payment details on file and will need to obtain these for your refund. 


Product Return Form

Mostly all of our products will come with a warranty. This warranty is held with the supplier/ manufacturer of the item of whom we shall contact and organise a solution for you. We would recommend testing your products prior to your intended first use to ensure the product works as expected.

With most items the main goal is that we repair or replace what is faulty under warranty. On the rare occasion where the supplier and the customer see fit; the item can be refunded. All products warranty is held with proof of purchase.

If you do find that your product has faults we ask that you inform us immediately and take photos of the faults. You can send these to returns@completeoutdoors.nz and our customer service team will help you. 

All items must be tested by the manufacturer before they can be replaced. We will work our hardest to make this process as quick and painless as possible. If after inspection it is determined that the product is defective, we will repair or replace it (at the suppliers and at our discretion) free of charge.

A product warranty does not cover misuse or damage caused by human errors, accidental damage, storm, UV or wind damage, mildew, mould and neglect, and fair wear and tear.

Please note the manufacturer of the item  will deem the warranty void if the product is used for other than what the product was designed for.

If the claim is not deemed as a warranty issue or is outside its warranty period, we can repair the product or obtain replacement parts at a nominal cost.
